Mike Willmon started building with metal in the 90's. He built many projects in his spare time for family and friends in West Texas. After moving to Central Texas, he saw a need for metal building construction. He and his wife, Lisa, started Mike's Metal in 2004. Mike worked full time and built buildings part time. Within a few short months, the demand allowed Mike to operate Mike's Metal full time. Within the first three years, Mike's Metal has generated gross annual revenue exceeding 250K.
Mike continues to build metal structures for private and commercial customers. He has Fransisco, an experienced foreman to assist him with the many projects.
Mike's Metal has completed various projects for commerical construction companies in Austin. Clients include, The Hyatt Lost Pines Resort, Trimbuilt Construction, Supak's, Grainger, Napam Cycles, Four Seasons Construction, Celebration Church, Bastrop Gardens, and White Lightening Ranch. Mike operates from his construction yard between Smithville and Bastrop. He supplies steel, metal, metal building components, pre-engineered building kits. He and his crews also weld up many projects. They build, retail motor repair facilities, fire stations, airplane hangers, churches, barns, and metal homes.
